A Prayer...
Heavenly Father, you entrusted your Son Jesus, the child of Mary,to the care of Joseph, an earthly father.Bless all fathersas they care for their families.Give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience;support them in the work they have to do,protecting those who look to them,as we look to you for love and salvation, through Jesus Christ our rock and defender.
Amen.

RENOVATION WORK BEGINS ON ST ANN CHURCH
You have probably noticed the equipment in the parking lot at St Ann.
We must repair areas where water has leaked through from the roof and sides of the church. You can see the effect of the water on the stonework around the pulpit and in several places on the walls. As there has been an ongoing problem with water infiltration in the two sacristies for several years. These have flat roofs. There have been many patches over the years and we intend to remove and replace the two roofs.
Other items on the to do list are:
Repairing the front and side entrance steps
Painting the church interior
Grouting and polishing the marble floor in the sanctuary
Replacing the carpet and the tile under the pews
Allegrone and his subcontractors are doing the work. Allegone has repaired and replaced stonework on the church previously.
As we did when building the Family Center, we are taking out loans to cover the cost, which is $550,000.00.
We are planning to run a capital campaign in the near future to recoup the renovation cost, to fund other projects, to enhance our ministries, and to increase our endowment to secure our future.
ST VINCENT de PAUL FREASH-UP
St Vincent parish is planning to replace the shingles on the church roof this summer, as well as replacing the gutters on the rectory.
