"Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"

It was a big risk, going to Jerusalem for Passover that year. Even the disciples felt that the noose was tightening. "But maybe if we can just sneak in and out, we'll be okay." Well, that didn't work. Recognized and surrounded by a small crowd, their cover was blown. Jesus himself, however, wasn't sneaking anywhere. He was living as he had from the start, open and accessible. It wasn't courage. It was faith that, no matter what, all would be well if he trusted His Father, not the disciples' workaround ideas. He saw with the eyes of faith; they saw through the filter of "how the world works." They still had a lot to learn.

Prayer to St. JosephHail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To you God entrusted his only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy, and courage, and defend us from every evil.  Amen.

- Pope Francis

NEWS and UPDATES

DISTRIBUTION OF PALMS

Because of covid restrictions, and out of an abundance of caution, we will not distribute palms this year.

NEW SPIRIT RETREAT

We will have an in-person retreat for middle school students on Monday of Holy Week (March 29) from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at St Ann Family Center. Please pray for the success of the retreat that our students might touch the mystery of God's love.

We anxiously await the end of the pandemic and the safe return of all our members. Meanwhile, our parishes' staff have been busy searching for ways to reach out. Below is information about our various initiatives. We hope you find them useful.

NEW TRIPARISH WEBSITE

In order to better serve the needs of our three parishes we have created a new website:

. It is still a work in progress, but we are chipping away. Any suggestions for additions, changes, help, etc., would be gratefully received.

LIVE-STREAMED MASS

We are now live-streaming the 4:00pm Saturday Evening Mass. It is also available to view at your convenience. Just visit our website

.

SOCIAL-DISTANCING INITIATIVES

Recently, the governor has increased the occupancy rate to 50%. However, as long as the 6-foot social-distancing directive is in force, the new occupancy rate does not affect our Churches' attendance numbers.

The governor, apparently, is considering changing the 6-foot distancing requirement to 3 or 4 feet for schools. Whether that would apply outside of schools is still being discussed. Such a decision would change the number of people we could accommodate in our Churches. We will, of course, comply with the governor's decision as we have done since the start of the pandemic.

Please consider contributing to the Annual Appeal this year. The ministries and services it supports need our assistance more than ever.

Jesus calls each of us:

"Come, walk with me!"
